Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Fortymen ("we", "us"), the publisher of the website at fortymen.app and the daily Bible study programs on it (the "Service"). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Fortymen is a web-based subscription that runs in your phone or computer browser. There is nothing to install and no physical product. A membership gives you access to the daily program for as long as your subscription is active: a short reading, a key Bible verse, questions with instant feedback, an action and a prayer for each day, plus weekly reviews, progress tracking and a certificate when you complete a program. One new day opens each calendar day.

Study content is written for personal devotional and educational use. It is not professional counselling, medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace your local church or pastor.

2. Your account

You sign in with a link we email you; there is no password. Keep your email account secure and do not forward sign-in links: anyone who opens one can use your membership. One membership is for one person. You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to use the Service.

3. Plans, prices, renewal and cancellation

Both plans start with a 1-day free trial: you enter a card, nothing is charged today, and the first charge is made when the trial ends — $19.90 on the monthly plan, charged automatically every month after that; $99 on the annual plan, charged automatically once a year. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Both plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime in your Hotmart purchase settings (linked from your Account page); cancelling stops all future charges. 30-day money-back guarantee: request a full refund through Hotmart within 30 days of your first payment. Payments are processed by Hotmart, our payment provider, under its own terms. You can see your next charge date on your Account page, and manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Hotmart purchase settings. Cancelling stops all future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you by email at least 14 days before a changed price applies to you.

4. Refunds

30-day money-back guarantee: if the Service is not for you, request a full refund of your first payment through Hotmart within 30 days of that payment. Later renewal charges are not refundable except where the law requires it. If a payment is refunded or charged back, access ends when the refund is made.

5. Fair use and conduct

You may not copy, redistribute, resell or publish the program content, scrape the Service, share your sign-in with others, attempt to bypass access controls, or use the Service in a way that breaks the law or harms other members. We may suspend or end an account that does any of these; in that case no refund is owed beyond what section 4 provides.

6. Content and intellectual property

The programs, readings, questions, designs and software are owned by Fortymen or its licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while your membership is active. 7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted access; we may take it down for maintenance or updates. We may add, change or retire programs and features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will refund any prepaid, unused portion of an annual plan.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects consumer rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will post the new version here, update the date above and, where we have your email, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
